My Wife and I commissioned Malibu Shutters to install
timber shutters throughout our home on the Nerang River. We
chose hinged panels for the bedrooms, dining room
and entry, sliding panels on the large white north facing
rooms with
bifold in the study and even a special lift out design
for our master bathroom to go behind the spa. A
number of the upstairs rooms have curved window lintels
and these
where individual measured and fitted to the curves. These
shutters are the centre piece of style in our open
plan home and many a guest has complemented us on
them. They
set the standard for our home by the way they control
the light and air, very much suited too the Queensland
climate. We
are quite satisfied and recommend Malibu to any discerning
buyers on the Gold Coast.

Dear Roger
Thanks for the installation of the shutters. I hope there weren’t any complications
with your gaining entry to my unit. ( I ahaven’t seen the manager since
I ‘ve arrived home). I had visitors laast night and today. They’ve
all “gasped” in delight at the shutters. I am still getting used
to them. Having had no curtains I’m finding it hard to look between the
slats!! I must compliment you on the workmanship. The shutters and the installation
are just perfect. One would think they were part of the place from the beginning.

We replaced our previous window coverings with timber shutters
7 years ago in our master bedroom, entry and office. We
selected Malibu shutters of Burleigh Heads and were delighted
with the way every detail was attended to both in the manufacture
and the installation. In the last seven years we have
seen the shutters go through every imaginable weather and
wind condition. To this day they still operate faultlessly.
I particularly love the way they handle the sea breezes at
night without any flapping or movement. We sleep
right through the night with fresh air flowing in. We
have recently had Malibu back to install new panels
following extensions on the basis of the quality of their
workmanship over time.
